We use a pay per copy system that will reduce your costs significantly and also increase your productivity. In addition, we go further in reducing costs than other providers. Toner is one of the most costly aspects of printing, with colour toner said to be more expensive than the finest champagne.
At DataTrust, we use an “Intelligent Billing” system that automatically calculates the colour toner you use to produce each page and varies the billing accordingly.
Instead of being charged per page for colour print, our "Intelligent Billing" system analyses how much colour was actually utilised in a particular colour print and applies discount where lesser amounts of colour toner were used.
It makes sense that there should be a difference in cost between a colour print that uses only 5% colour on the page and a colour print that uses over 80% colour on the page.
The difference in cost can amount to substantial savings for you.

Managed Print Services work on the basis that, more often than not, the customer purchases their own printer either outright or via leasing. It is actually possible to include the purchase price of the printer in a per copy model but, in general, we advise against this - we feel that it does not deliver real value to the customer.
Once the printer is in place, now the issue of the Cost of Consumables and service has to be considered. It is generally accepted, that the "Per Copy Billing" delivers the best savings for the customer. When you think about it, most workgroup laser printers / MFPs are costing about 12c per page for colour and 2c per black page. "Per Copy Billing" can deliver the same service, from DataTrust, for less than half that!
